This is Cityplanr, a group project with Philip Nilsson, Peter Sörensen, and Oscar Blegen. Our project is a city builder/planner where you can design cities and neighborhoods using your imagination. My main contributions to the project were the gizmo, extrude, and uniform scaling functionalities.

Here's a showcase of the extrude function.

This part checks if the grabbed line trace hit component's owner has the tag 'extrudeArrow'. If true, it will send a signal to the extrude function.

Inside the extrude function, it begins by checking if 'grabbed' has an 'extrude upp' tag. If true, it will send a signal to the extrude upp function.

Before sending the signal to the extrude upp function, we start moving the extrude upp arrow based on the mouse's world Z position, but only along the relative Z axis.

Converts the position to scale by dividing the new Z position by the starting Z0 position. We add the Z0 start position before dividing to prevent the scale from going back to zero when pressed. This makes it more adaptive.

Then, inside the extrude upp function, it scales the house object using the scale value from before. It also moves the other extrude gizmos to the same Z location as the upp arrow.

If the 'extrude upp' tag was false, this checks if 'grabbed' has the tag 'ExtrudeX'. If true, it will proceed to run either 'ExtrudeRight' or 'ExtrudeLeft', depending on whether it has the tag 'ExtrudeXRight'. We also send over the mouse X location minus the mouse X start location to normalize the value.

Here, we first convert the position to scale using the same method as before, but for the X axis. Then, it scales the house only along the X axis.
